Trip to Shirdi and Nashik

Maa and I planned for a trip to shirdi and Nashik. We booked a tour package of 2 nights and 3 days, which included Shirdi Sai Baba darshan, Trambakeshwar temple, Panchvati and Shani Shingnapur. We left for Shirdi on 23rd Nov and reached there on the next day.

Hotel Sai Govind - where we stayed.

First Day - Sirdi Sai Baba darshan(24th nov 2013):

We reached Shirdi at 9 am. We had booked Hotel Sai Govind. So we checked in and got ready for Sai darshan. The hotel provided cab service to the temple, we bought roses for Sai
Baba and joined the queue for darshan. It was sunday and as expected lots of people where there. It took us more than 1 hour to reach the main hall and finally we saw
Sai Baba.It was an awesome feeling. It was too much crowded so we were not allowed to stand there. Maa had heard from one of her friends that langar is arranged in the vicinity
of the temple. So we started asking people about the same and were directed towards the place where it was arranged. We bought 2 tickets for Rs 20(Rs 10 for 1 ticket) and then went
to the eating area. The hall was very big and already hundreds of people were seated. The food was good and unlimited(I ate a lot as I was fasting since morning !!). Then we came back to
our hotel and took a nap till evening. Maa woke me at 6 pm. We got ready and went for shopping and again went for Sai Baba's darshan. This time it was fast as few people were
there and took us 15 mins to reach the main hall. So the day ended with a good dinner in a punjabi restaurant.

                                         Ready for Sai darshan!!

                                          Shirdi at night.

                                         Maa busy shopping!!

Second Day - Nashik (Trambakeshwar, Mukti Dham and Panchvati)(25th nov 2013):

Maa woke me up at 5 am, getting up early is the toughest job for me(that's the reason I miss my office bus quite often). We were getting ready for Nashik, the room boy informed
that the driver was already there. WOW!! that was really a prompt service. I asked Nitin(our driver) where we can have our breakfast. He told that at this early hour there wont
be any restaurant open. So I had Vada pav at a roadside dhaba ....and I swear it was yummy....so I had 5 of them. Then we started on the journey with full
stomach. The journey to Nashik was scintillating ......early morning ....cold weather ....and Nitin was playing all Kumar Sanu songs of the 1990s....the combination was
awesome, I just closed my eyes. First we reached Mukti Dham , from there we went to Trambakeshwar(Lord Shiva's temple) and then to Panchvati - were Lord Ram and Sita
went for their vanvaas. After visiting Panchvati we started our journey back to Shirdi. After reaching Shirdi Maa did some more shopping at Sai complex, we had dinner at the
same punjabi restaurant(the restaurant is just opposite to Sai Complex), the veg noodles was delicious and Maa really liked the dosha. After that we went to our hotel.

As usual Maa woke me up at 5 am again. We had to visit Shani Shingnapur. It took us 2 hours to reach there. We worshipped Shani Maharaj and then returned back to Shirdi.
As we had to start our journey back to bangalore on the same day.
